Pablo
Thanks for an honest answer.
It is - to me- obviously better to put a picture in a frame.
Is there maybe another way of doing it?

This appears to work and is shorn of everything!
However, the frame doesn't go round the 4 sides of the image
Thanks for looking

The test project -tomkinsontestproject5.zip is now in the public folder as:
ftp://Tomkinsonsofliverpool.co.uk@79.17 ... oject5.zip
It seems a very big zip file for say 20 images.
Sorry about the delay

Re: Keeping slideshows within a fixed size
Ah well, Pablo, thanks for clearing that up for me, but it would be an interesting thing to have a fixed height grid in any given breakpoint and another height in another breakpoint.
I'll get on with re-sizing then!

Thanks Crispy
That is quite correct. Some images are landscape and some are portrait, so to reduce them all to the same height would really impact on the visibily of the portrait ones.

Because the photos are of different aspects/shapes, they project below where I want them to and so as the slideshow progresses, the display jumps up and down.

Many thanks for taking such a long view.
I don't disagree with anything you have said.
I think my approach is maybe too restrained- I'll think about it overnight and come back if I may with any justifications I can still make sincerely. Not a lot I guess.
Thanks again

Thank you Pablo- as ever.
Maybe I'm not explaining myself properly. I am fine using the header to keep the menu at the top, but when the submenus are extended then they don't go on top of the page content.
However, I will keep on trying

Re: Single page protect font size
OK Pablo, you've cracked it!
And it is now responsive to font size. Could you possibly include the login button as I see that is not changing- although I can't see why. But then I'm no coder.
Thanks

I bought the new version and then realised I should delete the protection and re-enter it.
However it still doesn't give the font size that I can see? This is definitely done using 15 as I have changed the label for password

Sorry about that. I had forgotten to tick "notify me"
The link is https://www.rhoscolyncottage.co.uk/
and then go to information and then entry.
But any other protected page will do e.g. closing, Family manual, suppliers, miscellaneous
Mike
Noted about 14- I'll do it shortly.
