Well I've just done an update and all is working as it should. I'll just keep an eye on things and see if I can see why it happened.

Re: Publishing defaults to the wrong location
OK - it's not that then.
I'll install the latest hotfix later today and see what happens.

Thanks Pablo.
What if one profile is "GMN Scouts" and another is "GMNSCcouts" - will they appear to be the same?

Re: Published Master page is not showing updated copyright in footer
As always, if you could provide a demo project (not the HTML pages) that shows these issues, it makes it much easier to diagnose what's happened.

Re: Publishing defaults to the wrong location
I had a quick look at publish.dat and I can't see what associates a profile with a particular .WBS file.
Where should I look for that?

Publishing defaults to the wrong location
I have about 10 default locations stored in WYSIWYG to match the 10 sites I work with. Each site knows which is it's own default location and all is fine. Until recently. Ever since I upgraded to 16.1 (I think that's when it started - may have been before), when I do a new update, the default locati...

Re: Sites in different Browsers
In the shared templates area on this forum, I've posted an example template with 5 breakpoints and some other stuff in it. Feel free to browse or use anything you may find useful.

Re: Sites in different Browsers
In my experience, most modern browsers do produce very similar results from the same HTML code. Any issues seem to generally be in things like line height and spacing. With my sites, I tend to be relaxed about where items go - so I never butt things up against each other - always leave a bit of spac...

Re: Weird publishing error
Pablo, I know this. I've been using a master page for years now. As I said, it was only when I was editing other pages and then had to change a menu item on the master page that I saw the issue. And when I the JUST edited the master page again, it published just fine. It's not a big deal as long as ...

Weird publishing error
Has anyone seen this? Running 16.1.1 version. I went into about 6 pages to edit some links. I also went into my MASTER page to edit a menu. When I published it, the master page published and the 6 pages published, but no others. I would expect ALL my pages to publish since they all use the master pa...

Have you tried it with Direct 2D turned off? (Tools, Options, User interface)?

Re: number of pages and folders
Can I also recommend that you make one page exactly as you like it and then copy that to use as a template for all the others. It also means testing should be a lot easier. For example, if you use a master page, have multiple breakpoints or the same menu for each, just do it once, get it working and...

Re: I need help... I want my website editable online.
BF, I don;t disagree that it is possibe and may even be easy to implement. But everyone has to realise that if they accidently update the relevant pages from their project, everything the customer does could be invalidated.
