Re: How To Display Online Webcam Image on My Site??

Thank you Pablo and BaconFries for your time and help. I just tried the refresh code and it did not work either (also tried other html code to get the image). Perhaps they have coded their server to prevent others from embedding their images on a website. Again I am grateful for all of the help and ...

Re: How To Display Online Webcam Image on My Site??

Thanks as always for your kind reply Pablo. When I put this URL in my browser, I get the proper image. http://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/alertwildfire-data-public/Axis-LaPanza/latest_full.jpg?x-request-time=1611520567834 When I put the same URL in the "link" properties of an image I get th...

How To Display Online Webcam Image on My Site??

I thought it would be easy, but apparently not. I want to display the current static webcam image from a public webcam on another website. I can copy the image URL and display it using a web browser, but cannot get it to display using the e'image' properties on my website. The public website is here...

Re: VB Script and WWB

I wasn't too clear in my post. The script does work, I was just uncertain if there was something prohibiting it from working with WWB.
Now I know, time to re-write in java script I suppose.

Thanks as always Pablo.

VB Script and WWB

Hello, I have a VB script I wrote long ago that I'd like to reuse in my WWB project. It doesn't work as expected, so I searched the forum for similar issues and could not find anything on the topic. Is it possible that VB script is not usable in WWB? The script changes images based on the day of the...

Re: Cannot Control HTML Width

Hi Crispy,

It worked! You are the master, thank you so much.

I still have work to do to clean it up, but you have saved me a lot of grief and I am very grateful.

Thanks again,

Shawn

Re: Cannot Control HTML Width

Hey Crispy -

Thanks so much for your speedy and skillful reply.

Yes, I do have access to modify the script. I'll give it a try and see if I can correct my errors.

Really appreciate the help!

Cannot Control HTML Width

Hello, I am using an RSS "widget" which is placed into an HTML object to display text. All of that works, but the text width cannot be controlled. I am using a layout grid and every option I have tried still allows the HTML text to use the full width of the page. I have also tried placing ...

Site Photo Options??

I would have had more luck solving my issue, but I don't know what it's called, so I use "site photo". What I want to do is find in WWB where to add or change a photo that would appear when the site URL is posted on the web. For example, if I share my site URL on facebook, the site name is...

Re: Is There a Way to Fix My Huge Mistake?

Thanks for your kind reply Pablo. The "project" opens in WWB 15 but the only page available is the index page. None of the other pages can be added back? Maybe there is a trick I don't understand for associating a file subfolder with all of the files (.html and so forth) back to the projec...

Is There a Way to Fix My Huge Mistake?

I have a long standing website created in an older version of WWB that I inadvertently opened and published in WWB 15 <it's a long story>. So now all I see online is the index page and the menu does not reference any of the web pages. Of course I cannot open the "website" in the older vers...

Re: Slideshow Question

Yes BaconFries (makes me hungry to write that BTW), You are absolutely correct. I just uploaded those files and it now works ! It was a combination of all of the above blunder I made, but of course without all of the proper files it would not work. Thanks for your time to help, it was driving me nut...

Re: Slideshow Question

Hey guys, I really appreciate the help. I was really optimistic because I found that I had uploaded a few image files that either had spaces or had JPG instead og jpg. So I deleted all of those from the server, properly renamed the offending files, and then watched as everything got properly uploade...

Slideshow Question

The "Slideshow" works perfect when in the preview mode (using Chrome on a Windows machine). Sadly it doesn't work at all when published. Instead it just shows the first image and nothing else. Is there something on the server side I might be able to do to correct this? Using the latest ver...

Hello, I am seeking a way to have a full screen image appear prior to seeing the index page of an existing website (a splash screen of sorts). While I've have searched for a method to do this, I have come up empty handed. Ideally I could set the image display time. Any advice would be very much appr...

Blog Tool in Layout Grid??

Hello, I have a website largely built using a layout grid design for each page. I have been trying to add the "Blog" tool, available from the default toolbar under Misc. The issue I have encountered and am unable to correct, is that the vertical height of the grid expands to show the entir...
