Sites in different Browsers

Post by Micky1757 »

Hi everyone, since my school English is not the best, I have to ask my question here. I tried going through the tutorial but couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm in the process of creating a website that looks the same in the various browsers, that is, all the different resolutions should show the full picture without having to scroll. What points do I have to look for in the tutorial? Thank you for your help. :)

In my experience, most modern browsers do produce very similar results from the same HTML code. Any issues seem to generally be in things like line height and spacing. With my sites, I tend to be relaxed about where items go - so I never butt things up against each other - always leave a bit of space around things. I also tend to find it's vertically that things go awry - so lining up things side by side seems to always be OK.

Of course, now I've said that, someone will prove me wrong :D :D

In the shared templates area on this forum, I've posted an example template with 5 breakpoints and some other stuff in it. Feel free to browse or use anything you may find useful.
