text numbering indenting?

Post by alan_sh »

Using a standard text object, I can insert a numbered list like this:
1.
2.
3.

What I can't do is insert an indented list like this:
1.
....a)
........ b)
2.
....a)
.........b)
3.
[replaceing the dots with spaces or tabs - I can't display that in this forum]

Is there a way to do this?

thanks

Alan

Did you try the 'increase indent' command?

Yes, but it increases everything for the primary number involved and all underneath it.

I want it to work like it does in MS- Word.

WWB uses the standard Windows text editor (richedit)
I do not think this functionality is supported.

BF - Yes, that's what I am after.

Pablo, OK - do you know any way I can get that without lots of spaces and doing it all manually?

Cheers

Seperate text field for each line? It will show you the alignment when dragging?

HTML does not support tabs, so using spaces is the only option I can think of.

Using the Numbered List option you can use the Shift key to indent and stay in the current subsection.
But I think only one indent is allowed.
