Pop up offers

Post by colin1661music »

Pop up offers - a number of my clients are asking to have pop offers appearing after 3-5 secs after landing on the website. That is easy to do with a timer, but is there any way to only do this the first time someone visit the site? I.E. if already seen never show again, unless they clear thier cookies or the offer changes?

Thanks Pablo, toasts looks great but I need people to enter thier email address in the popup, our click to go to a page.

IE Join our mailing list and get 10% discount.

Maybe in the next version, you can give us a box we can enter anything in.

Thanks for doing a great job.

In that case, you can use a Dialog.

This template uses dialog to display a popup dialog. it also includes a script to display the popup only once.

Hi Pablo,

Sorry to re-visit this, but a lot of my customers are looking for this popup for the sales, if you go to https://www.jaeger.co.uk/ after x number seconds a popup appears, I assume this only happens once.

You said that the dialogue popup didn't work on firefox because the javascript had been turned off, but I recently installed the tab javascript and that works fine in the same firefox. In any case dialogue pops up straight away and not after x seconds.

Could you quote me a price to add this feature to wysiwyg as I don't want to loose any customers.

Thanks Colin

There is no need to add the feature because there are already options to do this and they work with all browsers.
Examples:
1. Use a dialog
2. Use a toast (has built in cookie support)
3. Use a modal layer

If you only want to display the popup once then you will have to add a script with cookies.
Example templates:
