Vanishing pic

Post by RedDevil67 »

Hi. I have a website banner that displays top of screen full width. Shows on all the pages on pc but when you look at it on a phone it doesn't show on all pages only a few even though as far as I know the settings on each page are the same. Driving me mad:O

Any clues for a novice :)

When posting it is always best to provide a url so we can view and then provide a answer. Maybe the image names are invalid.

Hi Pablo. The image is the large one at the top (caravan sunset..) It does appear on all the pages in the site on full screen but when you start using smaller screens (or shrink window down) the image disappears on some pages but not others?? I have tried removing the image and replacing. The first link I gave the image will show on any size screen but on the second link( another page in same site) the image is there until you make window smaller or view on a phone/tablet.

@BaconFries Thanks for reply :) Had a look at that page but that doesn't seem to be the issue,

Ive just tried it in Firefox. It looks like it disappears around the 980px breakpoint. Do you have that size as an option in your WBS file? If so, look at the one below it in size (from experience, the breakpoints are whatever size you have and larger till it gets to the next size up)

It looks like you have selected a different image in the breakpoint: IMG_7382.jpg
This image does not exist on the server , so that is why is is not displayed.
