Iframe Not 100% Width

Post by mlsto » Sun Jun 17, 2018 10:32 pm

Hello

Have an iframe on the page but the width is not 100% although it is in the html code.

Also it is not showing responsive as the original page.

The iframe is located here, under the Latest News: https://www.carlosstomer.com/test/

Here is the original page which is responsive: https://www.carlosstomer.com/news/preview.php

How can I get it 100% width and fully responsive

Thank you

An inline frame is already responsive, and if content that you place in it is also responsive then it should work. If you wish it to be 100% width then you can place in a layout grid.

The HTML object has a fixed width, probably because you have selected 'use div'.
Please select 'do not use div'

The no div worked, thank you.

Is there a way I can have the height fit as the page expands? I put height as 100% in the script but the height stays as the height of the html object.

Thank you

If use select 'do not use div' then the height should not be included, because in that case there is no container.

Removed the height but still showed as the height of the html object

This is the code I have

<iframe src="https://www.carlosstomer.com:443/news/preview.php" width="100%" height="700px" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto"></iframe>

Didn't you add this height yourself?

Code: Select all

height="700px"

This is the height that is part of the iframe code.

If I remove it or put it as height="" it uses the html object height.

I'm sorry, but then it is unclear to me what the problem is.

What would you like to do?

I would like the height to extend automatically, right now it is not.

Thank you

I think that is only possible with script.

A script that you will need to implement yourself.

For example:
