I've looked at one of the templates, interesting. I'll try resizing my site, see what happens. Can you recommend a good, current mobile landscape width?

Thanks

Normally you add breakpoint whe nthe layout 'breaks'. So for example, if the layout does not look good below 768 pixels then you add a 768 breakpoint.
Some layouts may look ok for all viewports. There is no generic rule for this, it all depends on the layout.

Thank you. Like "breaks" in a browser? How would you know what px size? Can you suggest something for my site?

https://www.danger.graphics/index.htm

I read somewhere prior to beginning that 1334 x 750 was the most common screen size in the USA in 2016 ..me being in the US.

I personally use the browser window and resize it until the browser display a scrollbar.

I'm sorry but I still think you will need to redo your layout to use more common values like:
1280, 768, 480 etc.

Hello again,

So I've resized my site to 970, 546px wuth a 480px breakpoint. All images were resized and relinked. Wbs link below..

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkLAWCMtcu-1ge9I8hVrFxVvYYlLtg

Everything seemed fine till I assigned the 6 layers to float fullscreen. Then it became this mess. I believe it has something to do with the slideshow in the layout grid. It sizes perfectly in the 480 version, why 970 is a problem I have no idea.

As always any input is welcomed, thanks in advance. How would I be able to upload the images for you to view ..another link to a folder I suppose?

You have mixed floating and fixed layout.
The (fixed)layer is on top of the (floating) layout grid.

To use layers in combination with layout grid these layer also need to be floating.

Also note that tat without the images I cannot see what the layout looks like.

Here are the images for review. You are correct, layer 6 was fixed ..now floating. Same result. The layoutgrid is fluid/floating. To me 1 is the top layer, is that right?

Thanks

You have set the layers to 'full screen' but the page alignment is not '100%', so the layers will not be displayed.
Please read the help for more details.

Thank you. So I've set page width and height to 100% and all layers have been assigned to center in browser window (floating full screen only). The result is here…

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkLAWCMtcu-1ge9gLw08rXS5a1GFzQ

I have no idea what is happening at this point, just very bizarre. The image on layer 6 has apparently disappeared, but only in default view.

The image is outside the viewport.
You can move it inside the viewport via the Object Manager:
- right click the object
- select 'Reset Position'

Thank you again. I've reset the position and it does allow me to move it, but it won't save properly. Every time I reopen it, it has moved. Also I intended the site to display like this...

https://www.danger.graphics/index.htm

The layers being on top of each other, not vertically in the browser as they are previewing now. Can you help with this?

I think this is related to the initial problem you had, where all layers were on top of each other. Now the layout seems to be 'mixed-up' (floating and fixed conflicts)
It may be quicker to start over, for me it will also take a lot of time to figure out how to correct this in your layout.

Thank you, that is unfortunate. My initial problem was just it not loading consistently on a mobile device. The most recent version of my sight (yesterday) I have everything floating.

You see what I'm trying to do ..is it fundamentally correct at least, 6 floating layers over a slideshow inside a layoutgrid? Should I approach it differently? I'd hate to recreate it just to get these same random results. Thanks

To me the glitch seems to be stemming from layer 6 and the layoutgrid, layers 1-5 have usually been pretty consistent. Maybe you can look at that if you don't mind. Thanks again.

Please read my two previous posts. I actually tried to delete and recreate just layer 6, is that possible? When I did layer 1-5 were also deleted. Thanks again
