Shimmering button extension

Post by Patrik iden »

Hello, i just made this extension. Shimmering button, is a button script that will show a button with a shimmering effect.
You will have to setup different classes for each button (you can do this in button settings).
You can sett Button color, Hover color, Font size, Font Color, Border Size, color, radius, type. etc.
The buttons can not be smaller than: width: 98px and height: 46px.

Orginal script: http://cssdeck.com/labs/shiny-semi-tran ... ed-buttons

Demo and Download: http://test3.fcab.se/myextensions/view5.php

Hope you like it.

Thank you.

You have to change manualy this line in the css: text-shadow: rgba(0,0,0,0.9) 0px 1px 2px;

I love this extension and it's cool to use but I can't seem to make the events work on it. For example, when I set a certain item to fade in or show with some kind of effect after clicking on the button, it doesn't work. Does this not work in preview mode? In other words, do you have to publish the site to see it working? Has anybody else experienced any difficulty with making events work with this extension? Otherwise it's a cool extension.

Hello, i can't get the events to work in the Extension properties, but i think you can set events in page properties, set the target to the extension name. And it works in preview mode.

Hi Patrik,

Thanks very much for your reply and advice. I tried using the events in the page properties section and it worked! Thank you again.
