Paul,

I'm using your menu in two sites, but currently waiting for the clients to finish providing content so I can complete the sites. You have viewed one of the sites at www.assaultlife.com, but you can see the other site on my test server at www.efair.netne.net

Thanks for the awesome extensions!

Cheers Mate,
Ed

Can you post a URL?

I've just viewed all three demo pages and the two url's that templar posted in Chrome and they all look fine to me. What exactly is your problem?

22/02/12 : All image content now published to the /sdbm folder.

You may need to re-link any images if you open a project that uses an earlier version of this extension. Earlier versions of this extension required images to be manually moved to the /images folder. Now all images, css and .js files are all automatically published to the /sdbm folder.

Re: a simple question

Hi Adendum,
Is it possible to customize on different page this extension using different colors and images ?
Every time I change the background color of the menu on a page it affects all the drop down menu on the other pages. I don't want this to happen.

Is this a bug or a limit of this smart extension. :?:

The only way to have different versions of the extension in one site is to place the page in a separate folder - as I do with the demo site. Look at the URLs for the demo in your browser and you'll see what I am doing:-

/demo/SDBM1/sdbm1.html
/demo/SDBM2/sdbm2.html
/demo/SDBM3/sdbm3.html

Because when the extension/page is published all the CSS, .JS and images to run the extension go into a folder called /sdbm/ therefore if you publish two extensions in the same folder the second page will put all it's files in the same folder - overwriting the files from the first publish.

Just make a folder in your project, place the second page in that folder and publish. If you have three uses add another different folder - see my example above.

Very cool extension , but found a little bug on my site.

When I use this extension on a page the page shows a scroll bar at the bottom of the page when opened in the browser. My page width is smaller than my screen.

If I remove the extension , the scroll barr is gone.

Any idea how to solve this ???

Kier,

A couple of issues here. You are using a frameset (an old concept) and you are using an old version of the extension.

You have a setting of 2500px in one of the CSS rules, this was changed to 115%.

When you update the extension this may not cure the problem but try that first and post again of there is an issue.

Kier,

After you install the latest version (which will use the 115% value) you need to widen the extension to be the same width as the number of menu items. You have 6 items each with a 150px wide image. Therefore the extension needs to be at least 6x150=900px. I changed your page via Firebug to those settings and it was fine.
