This is certainly a permissions issue. Check that the folder is writable or the script will not be able to write the necessary files on the server.

I agree it must be a permissions issue but have set permissions to all folders to 777. Also, I cannot find a file in any of the directories associated with the cart called Order Details. Can one be uploaded into the admin directory similar to the countries file in my earlier post?

What do you suggest?

Re the above post. Not sure what I did but tried this morning and if worked. ???

Can someone please advise if I am correct in assuming the only payment option is paypal and all the other options in the demo (visa, m/card, etc) are just there for show. Also, is there any way to set up the paypal option so that people don't have to have a paypal account to purchase.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Yes, other options are there just as demo, if you need them you will need to get yourself a merchand account and add the necessary code (according to the payment gateway requirements) yourself.

PayPal account optional: this is set in your PayPal account, not in the cart.

Hi Stoksey

By this:-
lso, is there any way to set up the paypal option so that people don't have to have a paypal account to purchase.
I presume you mean you want people to pay by credit card. This can be done through PayPal and you can be careful to lead people through the PayPal gateway.

On my sites I make it clear to the buyer that they they can pay by PayPal and/or Credit Card.

Go here: www.flsuk.co.uk

And go through the process of buying something. When you get past the checkout you will see that we make it as clear as possible to the buyer that they can pay by other means than PayPal by following certain steps in PayPal to use their credit cards, inc Amex. We also replace the PayNow button so that it is not too PayPal oriented.

This way you can use PayPal as the total bank without the need to get merchant services account with a clearing bank.

Cheers

Thanks, hope you don't mind but I've copied what you've done for our site. Like the idea of the security question also..

No worries.

Don't forget to remember to make sure that the image link is correct for the image you intend to use. If you use the one on our site it is not the standard one in Naval's web shop.

Cheers

Have you ensured that the code in the page headers has been correctly added to your cart, checkout and thankyou pages?

Hi Navaldesign,

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=16668

I have been trying to use your webshop_plus2.wbs from the link above and when I try to open it in Web Builder 7 its giving me the following error message -

Unsupported Format
This file was created with a newer version of WYSIWYG Web Builder

Do you have any suggestions why this is? As far as I know Web Builder 7 is the latest version of this software. The webshop plus looks like the solutions to all my problems with a website I'm currently working on; appreciate any insight you might be able to offer me

Thanks for your help

Hello,

I have successfuly uploaded some features of Webshop Plus, I tested it and it works all the way up to the PayPal payment page. It is great!

However, I do have questions that I cannot find the answer to in this forum.
I guess the last 2 questions are contingent upon the answer for #1.

My situation is I need to have people upload digital photo files along with their order.
Q# 1) Am I able to easily implement "File Upload" somewhere into the Webshop Plus forms? (I tried some testing here and it failed, I'll admit I don't know what I'm doing in this regard)
Q# 2) If yes, what would the properties, values, actions etcetera be?
Q# 3) When the form is finally submitted and files are uploaded to my upload folder, how do I make sure the uploads can be matched to the "order number"?
______
I had another thought if anything at all is possible. Perhaps the thing to do is to have another separate "upload" page that the client will be taken to after PayPal is completed? But it would still have to be matched with corresponding order number.
I will have several items for purchase with options from 1 to 6 digital photos.
If a client wants 4 photos and chooses the "4 photos" option I need the upload section to "know" that it is only 4 photos and not 5 or 6. I hope this is not confusing. :?

@moshe: please allow a day or two, had too much work lately

@ponderosaprinting:
I'm not sure what you mean. This is a shop for products that YOU upload on your site, it is not an Order form where users (customers) can upload their files. Please clarify.

Hi again,

Yes, the client will order items based on the sample images from the site (like on your sample site)... but in my case the items sold will include the clients own digital photos which they need to upload.
I know how to make upload forms, but not with this script.
They need to be able to upload images to me. My question is can I implement the "file upload" somewhere on the forms within the "cart" and have the order number match the uploads?

(I was afraid I was been confusing, sorry)

This is only possible by heavily modifying the code as it is not designed for this purpose.
