Mobile Redirect
Not much to really say about this little extension just Drag and Drop to your page simply enter the url of your site that you wish to be redirected to for mobile devices.Note the default is http://www.stepforth.mobi but any url can be used please also ensure that you set your page extension in WYSIWYG Web Builder to PHP tp make it work.

Hi Bacon

I have installed via the extension manager, and tried to put on the page/canvass, but I don't get a cross to drag on the page.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Close WB saving any project that may have open, and then restart WB and you should now be able use.

Hmmm as you can see from the image below it is in Toolbox and displying on page... How did you install it? did you login with password? or did you install by using the extension manager?? If you manually downloaded by using your login and installed then please uninstall and use the extension manager...

Hi Bacon

Yes I installed via the extension manager.

Still no joy.

So - I tried something else - I think WB7 only allows 200 extensions - I deleted some and tried again, and so far it seems fine.

I think he problem could have been too many extensions

Thanks for your help

Sorry Bacon it's me again.

I think I'm being a bit thick here. Could you help.

The extenion is now in WB and works fine.

However, this is what I am getting - not sure what I am doing wrong.

Let's say I have a domain.

www.xyz.com

I build a site 900 pixels wide, 900 pixels high for normal web browsing. I publish the site, and it works fine.

Now with your extension, let's say I have built a smaller project just for mobile devices - and I put in a subdomain, www.xyz.com/mobile

I use your extension to direct mobile devices to the sub domain, as per instructions. This is the thing I can't work out.

With your extension, noraml browsing (using a computer), goes to the sub domain, (the mobile site version) whilst mobile devices (iphone etc), goes to the main site, not the mobile device.

In other words, the site is working backwards. :(

Any ideas?

Thanks

I will take a look at this later tonight when it all quiet... had alook at the code and it looks like iphone ia missing from it... but for try using as below since the mobile site is with a folder you need to point to the index file in that folder
www.xyz.com/mobile/index.html
