I've contacted the relevant people to request permission to use their code. Will keep you advised.protectourlands wrote:I found this incredible slider that allows for html content in your slides called Anything Slider.
I implemented it for a client and thought it would make for a very powerful extension.

Re: SUGGEST FOR EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT
Thank you Adendum. I look forward to hearing from you. I hope they give permission. This is an incredible slider.
Re: SUGGEST FOR EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT
Don't thank me yet! He's given the go-ahead and I'm looking at it now but boy oh boy is it a monster or what! There's more options in this than anything I've seen. I suspect this could take a while...and looking at the demos he's sent it may end up as more than one extension.....if I can make it into one that is!protectourlands wrote:Thank you Adendum. I am pretty close to a working extension but I'd like a couple of volunteers to put it through its paces!!!protectourlands wrote:I found this incredible slider that allows for html content in your slides called Anything Slider.

I have not written the HELP file yet so you would have to use your initiative. Also you should be aware that this extension is very likely to be a 'work in progress' for some time as it has so many options that I have had to break it down into modules. This version of the extension is effectively DEMO2 (see original link). Once this version is viable and released I will continue to work on DEMO3 (with captions) and add that to the next version.
To keep testing manageable I only want to work with two or three volunteers to start with. Interested people should email me via my contact page and supply their email address and name. First come first served!

Re: SUGGEST FOR EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT
Hello guys,
Is it possible to make an extension of this image gallery: http://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/exa ... e-rotator/
The tutorial is here: http://designm.ag/tutorials/image-rotator-css-jquery/
As I am not skilled in javascripts or jQuery!
Thank you so much.

Oh well, never mind, I'll use it one day. I'm writing up the help file tomorrow and I think it's all working - here's a demo.

Don't get disappointed, it is hard to get people to use a non finished extension. Keep up the good work

Re: SUGGEST FOR EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT
The demo looks awesome Paul.
I think once WB users see how advanced this slider is over all the other static image sliders now available, your efforts will be very well received and appreciated.

is it possible to pause between two events
Examples: onclick hide with effect image1 ... pause 2 seconds ... show with effect image 2
The pause function is only present for audio right?
setTimeout(event2,milisecs);
hope this gives you a hint.
