Turns out this was a conflict issue with Avactis Code. They have kindly altered their code to allow the dynamic iframe system to work with their software.
I am currently working on implementing Avactis shopping cart into a client's site created with web builder with great success. Definately an exciting option for web builder users.
Will post more details in E-Commerce forum on site completion.

Cheers

Nicely done and good execution of presenting the example website for us, rockman!

I am thinking that I will be trying to implement this very function on a site that I'm currently working on.

Thanks for the info.

master frame and content page

Postby chris_saturn » Sat Feb 20, 2010 11:39 pm

Hi WWB team,
I remember reading about an exciting new tool in a PDF file within a zip on this page http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23603 called "Master Frames"
It says on the form that it as been added, but can not find it in WWB program. Is it in there or is it not ready as of yet?

Thanks

Chris

Thanks for this, at last a working code/plugin that will change the pages' length

The original code was good for a while but since newer browser come out my sites were not loading the body of the page only the header and footer. Before I modify my sites using this new technique take a look at either of these two sites I've made. First use IE or Opera and you're see they both load good now use the latest version of FireFox.

http://www.sunflowerltd.co.uk

Also the text in the address bar would always be the same so a user could not bookmark a page that was liked.

Thanks for making this important new funcation for us to use. And also another thanks for making a video showing how to use it. I would not have had a clue on how to use otherwise.

All the best

:D :D :D :D

To which tutorial are you referring?
In this topic is everything explained about the dynamic web page and that it does not work anymore in the newer WB versions.

If you talking about dynamic page ( link below )with layers than post yor question in a new topic.
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/using_layers.html

If you are talking about the content place holder (masterframes ) than see the video tutorial.

If the forum is hosted on the same server as where the WB pages are uploaded it can work but you have to test this in several browsers, you have also to change the document type for the page to None to use this dynamic page tutorial.

You cannot open/resize external links in the dynamic iframes.
