Very basic Forum

Post by Trugmaker »

I manage a small website for a Cycle Speedway team www.hellinglylions.org. What I would like is a VERY basic forum as unlike this forum I have possibly only a couple of hundred potential viewers. All I need is the ability/facility for someone to click on a forum button on my website, read and add comments/suggestions regarding the sport. Their comments and member responses must remain viewable (unless I delete them). I do not need an all singing package like the WWB forum here. Is this achievable with the WWB News Writer extension?

A forum is a script that you need to install on the server, because it requires a database.

For example:
https://www.phpbb.com/
https://www.hotscripts.com/category/scr ... on-boards/

As ALWAYS your help is magnificent but upon downloading it, the instruction text is beyond my comprehension and slightly more of than 'War and Peace!'. But thanks again for your response.

For what it's worth, most web hosts allow installation of a forum such as the one you are reading at the click of a button.
