Best Breakpoints practice

Post by Lasa » Fri Oct 26, 2018 11:14 am

I am new to the breakpoints... what is peoples experience here for desktop size and Breakpoints practice?
I would like to use the minimum amount possible since I am designing my site with layers.
Cheers

Maybe the tips in the FAQ will be helpful?

There is no really practice you can tell… you must try to figure out your audience/visitors. For example if the visitors mostly have desktop unit you can have default arround 1460pxl. If you have design and video material that maybe will be shown bigger 1920pxl is good for "Default".
Using layers, you nead more breakpoints. Starting with 1460 default and then 1280, 1024, 860, 768, 480, 340/320... can be a good start for testing your neads.
