Help with navigation bar

Post by dellas_capua » Fri May 11, 2018 4:48 am

Hello guys!

I'm new to this web design world and also new to WWB. I have a page with the following structure:

PageHeader ---------

------------------------
layer1
------------------------
layer2
------------------------

On layer1 I have a linked video from youtube and pageheader it seems on top of the video! That's what I wanted. When I roll the page down, the pageheader keeps showing up, with a logo and a menu.

What I wanted was that when the user rolled the page to down, the pageheader was kind of "dark", like a slash black If the user went back up again, it would in the beginning, that is, transparent!

I tried to put a shape "behind" the pageheader and put it as visible = false. And I added an event in an element just below
that exhibited and hid this shape, but it was not cool! The shape does not fill the entire canvas horizontally!

Could someone show me a way to do this?

Hello Pablo Thank you for your help!

That's what I had in mind! :)

I downloaded the candy template and realized that it has two grid layouts, one transparent and one solid background with the same objects. I did the same on my page. What I did not want was to just copy and paste. I wanted to know how to do it manually, so I could perfectly adjust what I need!
When I preview, the grid layout with the solid bottom already appears at the top. It does not occur the effect of first appearing transparent and when the user scrolls the page, the top will get solid!

So, how does magic happen?!? :)

Once again, my sincere thanks to you. I know you guys should be working hard on the new version and still take the time to help newbies!

Thank you!

The template uses scroll transitions to make the second menu transparent.

I still can not tell which element triggers the transition animation!
I looked at each element and could not find it. The animation is on the page.
I'm using WWB 14! Is there a difference in the way you work?
Thanks, again!

Hello!

Now I could reproduce and do the way I wanted to.
However, I just do not understand why the CSS Animations tab does not appear when I right click on my grid layout and choose the "Object Properties" option? Should not there be both the CSS Animations tab and Events? Why do I need to go there in the Properties window, where all the properties of the element appear, and down there choose the option? I was looking at the properties of an image or text and there the tabs appear. Why this separation?

Note: I am also a programmer, I work with dekstop applications and so my questioning!
Note2: Just out of curiosity, Pablo, the WWB is made in Embarcadero Delphi?

This option was added last-minute to the layout grid, so that is why is is not yet available in the properties.

WWB was made in Microsoft C++
