layout Grid overflow when gradient used (SOLVED)

Post by katman » Mon Apr 23, 2018 11:36 pm

I have discovered that when I change a grid layout "style" "background" from solid to gradient the contents extend beyond the lower margin of the layout gid element.

Recreate"

1. drag layout grid into page and set to one section and bacground to solid color
2. add several text paragraphs
WORKS FINE
3. change background to gradient
4. reduce browser width and watch text extend below grid layout element.

This is because it is creating an image for the gradient background which is fixed in size.

To make it work, click on Tools -> Options -> HTML -> In CSS, check the box that says: Use CSS3 gradients instead of images when possible.
