Header

Post by kenmed » Sun Nov 12, 2017 11:47 am

Hi
I try to place a header and make it stick, and under that a layout grid or a flexboxcontainer. It does not work.
Added a meny bar inside grid and f-container inside but did not showed up in preview or in published.
Does it not work with mixing header/footer with grid/fcountainer?

A page header is always the first item on the page, so you cannot place it under a layout grid.

Examples:

Not sure if I got it. I place a header first on the page and below that I insert a grid/fcountainer and try to build from there.
I wish to have a header that stays and build the rest with grid/fcountainer. The header stays but nothing else can be seen.
A guide in the right direction please and I try find out how to do it.

www.aikiken.se
A header, a responsive meny, layoutgrid and and a picture. Only half picture appears? In the next grid it shows the whole picture. Same settings in the grids.

The header is fixed so it will be displayed on top of all other content. This is normal HTML behavior.
If you want to add an offset, so the header does not cover the first element in the layout, then you can add a margin at the top of that element.

Ok. But way does not the grid respect the boarder of the header and display the content as the grid nr 2 does?
Thanks.

If you add a margin to the first grid then all other grids will automatically move down.

Ok. Seems to work.
Keep learning. Great support as always. Read the supportpage more than working with pages. A great team there!

I put a flexboxcontainer or a grid, add a picture, next layoutgrid, add same picture. Have do set padding to 100 in grid so I can see the picture in prev.
Why?
www.aikiken.se is build this way. Reviewlink shows picture with 2 layoutgrid and padding 100 so I can see the pictures.
