text box issue

Post by GrahamW » Tue Oct 24, 2017 2:01 am

I have a layer on a page set to 1200 wide and on that layer I placed a text box then typed in my text. However the text when you view the site is outside the layer and text box.
When you look at it in the design window it is all contained with the text box and the text box is within the layer as it normally would be

To see what I mean see this link. I have set colours on the layer and text box for easy viewing, they are not normally there
https://www.grahamscomputers.net/terms.html

Yellow is the layer
Green is the text box.

I originally typed the document in word then copied and pasted into my text box. Could this be my issue why the text wont retain to the textbox.

you selected 'output format: use <div>...etc' for the text element
select 'default' or 'include line-height...'

You have added 'indent' to the text, this will force each line to have a fixed length.
Please remove the indent from the text.
