CMS? Have user update site content only (news & update)

Post by nesbie » Fri Nov 06, 2015 5:16 pm

Hello,

I was playing with CMS but that's not really what I'm looking for.. or is it.

I have the website up and running but in the center, I want to have it update with any news (life Facebook comment that the top/newest one lands above the rest and so forth) I seen many pages with these type of plugins but I wanted to see if WYSIWYG has something similar. Again, I don't want to post comments but news and articles to be displayed on a "news" site and have one user log in and update it once a week with what's going on with links and maybe picture.............. next week, a new update so the one from this week will fall below next week update.

I hope I made sense, Pablo, do we have anything like this? I'm currently running 8.5.5 I think.

Thanks!
nes

First note that version 8 is no longer supported.

As alternative for the CMS you can use the News Writer Extensions.
