Templify - WYSIWYG Web Builder 9 Template

Post by brianholder » Fri Jul 26, 2013 11:07 am

This template should be compatible with WWB Version 8.x, but it rocks with version 9 as it is 100% compatible
with the replace property values feature, making this template extremely versatile. Mobile version included. Uses
Google Web Font: Maven Pro » http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Maven+Pro

Completely free to use.

Important! Download and install google web font on your computer first » http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Maven+Pro
I have added the script to embed the font in your website, but it is designed to work best
if the font is also installed on your local computer. This allows the program to render and
display the font. With out the installation you may experience errors when editing or publishing
the template.

I can't open it in WB8 and WB9. There are no pictures shown in WB9. I would like to learn houw to make the menu used in this template.

I think you're referring to the white bar that has the templify logo and the main menu in it. This was created using a layer. When you double-click on the layer, and you go to the Layer properties, you have four options to checkbox. Make sure you check off the two horizontal checkbox properties. This will allow the layer to span the entire width of the monitor. The footer and also the blue bar on this theme are created using the same technique.

jaynaybird wrote:Hi Brian,

I noticed throughout the html of your Templify template your website http://www.bjholder.com url is in the code?
How do we easily remove all your website urls in the template?

Thanks,
Jay
Hey Jay, glad you found that! I was experimenting a little bit when I was building this template and that was something that didn't work. I thought i removed it but I guess I never took it out..

Removal is easy, just use the main menu and click on Page » Site HTML, and the code is located in the tab called called

Code: Select all

Before </body>
You can delete all default text that is in there. Sorry about that confusion! Thanks for spotting this and helping out! I'll push an update to the template today so future downloads will not be affected.

Thanks,
Brian H.

It would be best to wait for the original template author to provide a fresh url to the template, this is so that no copyrights are broken by others sharing the template. On checking the url the site may be down due to maintence so please be paitent. May I also point you to the forum rules regarding the use and tghe download of templates.

Thanks Brian for such a great template. I'm using it in one of my ongoing sites: jmcerrajeria.com.ar and it works perfect. In addition I'd say that your work in your personal website is fantastic for people like me who are just starting in the web design world. It explains pretty good a lot of things that are very complicated for begginers like me :-) Thanks a lot for this awesome help. You rock! Keep it up!

Cheers,
Damian
