Help with Tabs - formatting

Post by onlye »

Helping a friend with a new website. He is using the new stepping Tabs feature on a page. Works great, but it scrunched up to much on mobile. We are playing around with using the Tabs on the left. Overall it works but the height formating is a challenge. The Tabs on the left drop down on the layout grid below. We tried expanding the bottom margin in the content style and that makes the overall Tab object tall enough not to cover items below. But the content container expands and contracts with the amount of text in each Tab. Is there a way to make the Tab tool so that it does not expand and contract?

Here is a link to the page. There are two Tabs on the page, the first for the wider screens and the one with Tabs to the left is the one we are playing with to use on mobile. We saved this one without the extra margin in the content so you can see how the Tabs overlay other content.

Is there a setting we are missing? THANKS!

Thanks, Pablo

Here is a link to the project. I deleted all but the page that has the Tabs on it. There are two instances of Tabs on the Page. The first is great for wider screens. We will make that not visible on smaller screens. The second, at bottom of the page, is to use on narrower screens with the tabs on the left.

At the bottom of the page the Tabs on left. The Tabs list overlaps the foot below. Is there a way to make the Tabs display the full height without overlapping the object below?

1. Right click the tab object
2. Select 'Custom Style'
3. Enter this code:

Code: Select all

min-height: 500px
