Unable to add text to to text object

WB 16.2

I have had this issue a few times now when working on a page and I add a text object but cannot enter any text.

Change to a different page and works fine.. Go back to that original page but cannot enter any text although I can edit text and even copy a text object and paste it and then edit it fine....

I have to close WB down and open the project again and it works fine...

I can give anymore details on this at the moment in as much what I was doing prior to this happening

Maybe there is another object on top of the text?
I need more details to be able to help you.
