Countdown script and time zones

Post by cmsintent »

Good Morning Pablo

I used this ...
INSERT > MISCELLANEOUS > Ready to Use Java Script > Countdown

I have set it to stop March 16 at 12pm

I live in the MDT time-zone but I am being told that people outside of my time zone are already seeing the expiry (as of this post I have around 1 hour to go)

I thought this would work off the viewers computer clock or does this work off my server time setting - the countdown is correct for me.

This script uses JavaScript so it uses the user's local time. it is not connected to a server.
