When I used to create a new "publish to" profile, it would be saved for future use. Now after I press publish, it goes away and I have to recreate the publish to profile again and again. Any thoughts?

Might be a permission issue. I run Web Builder as admin.

This usually indicates that the file 'publish.dat' is read-only or otherwise protected. For example, because it was restored or Windows ransomware protection is enabled.

Make sure the file is writable:
Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\publish.dat

Ransomware is actually off on my computer. Permissions are set to Allow for everything on that file. Still no luck.

Did you check if the file is read-only?
If you rename/move the file, it is recreated when you save the publish settings?
