html and editor problems

hi, i really am at a loss. in my directory in the wysiwyg all of my directory html files have the logo of wysiwyg and when i try to bring them up into the editor instead of loading it so i can work on it,, i get the you are trying to start a new instance of my wysiwyg which makes it so i cant work on it. how can i correct this?

If your .html files have the WB logo then it sounds like you file type associations are messed up. Just google how to change file type associations to fix it.

Or this can be configured in the Windows Control Panel -> File Types.

Never mind my friends, i figured it out, i had published to my computer for backup, bad idea. i erased the self made files it made, and all went back to normal. lesson learned. thank you for your replies
