Create a bilingual website

Post by aamfirdaus »

Hi, everyone.

I am aware there is an extension to input two-language texts and control which to display through a control. However do you have any idea how to do it if I want to change the entire content (including the image which contains some text) into another language? Should I create cloned pages with entirely different language, in which case I have to set other set of menu items in the Navigation Bar?

Thank you.

Maybe you can use 'Google Translate'?
There is a standard script for this in 'Ready-To-Use-Javascripts'.

I see. Thanks Pablo.

I just tried using the ready-to-use javascript, and I set the language into mine, but I don't see any way how to translate the page when I preview it. Is there a clickable or right click to translate the page? Because when I right click, it only shows translate to English.

The script should add a language selection dropdown menu.
Note that you may need to publish the page for this to work.
