Cursor Problem

Post by andyp »

WB 14.3.4

Odd issue here

Have installed (legally) WB 14.3.4 on another system to do a specific new site.

New system has duplicate project as I started on the original system

Both have the same Carousel.

On the original system with the original project when the cursor is clicked over each objects to move the object.... including the Carousel object it changes from the arrow pointer to the X (well almost an X).

On the new system (64 bit using 32bit WB) when clicking on the Carousel object to move it it changes to a hand pointer which means it cant be moved.

If I click on any text within the Carousel to move this works fine and the X appears... and indeed it works fine on any other object. Its just the Carousel object that I am unable to move unless I use the resize method to get into place.

I appreciate the input for this.

I can do a screen video if needed.

The hand cursor indicates that the mouse is over one of the navigation elements, like the next/previous arrows.

Hi Pablo

I dont have Navigation enabled and this can happen anywhere within the Carousel.

All the handles appear when I left click on it..

To be able to help you, I need a copy of your project file so I can see all your settings.

Great thanks...

The project in a zip file is at http://apgraphx.co.uk/test/cursor.zip

You can view a screen shot video at: http://apgraphx.co.uk/test/cursor

However the audio is out of synch with the software I used.

And just a reminder the same project in the same form was started on a Win7 system with no cursor problem and transferred to a Win10 system for this particular project where the problem shows

The actual carousel object I have used here is from another project... just easier to set up the same with the intention to change the images...

Thanks
Andy

Mmmmm Just to update this I created a new Carousel object on a new page and this works fine?

However would be interested to know if you find anything?

Thanks

Thanks for sharing the project.
However, I could not reproduce the problem on my computer

Maybe you have conflicting compatibility settings in the Windows (DPI) properties?
