My website has all necessary buttons to link to the various pages (Doh! Obviously)but is it advantageous to add the WWB sitemap also?

Yes, It will help Google find your sites content. Search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo use the likes of backlinks, external links to find your site and its content. By using a Sitemap this will expedite (speed up) the crawling and indexing process by Google and the other engines.
It can also be used to keep your page/site ranking when or if you make any changes you will need to resubmit a updated Sitemap to Google. This will help speed up the crawling of the site again and keep the ranking. So by using a Sitemap it has its advantages to you and to the search engines to crawl and read your sites content more efficiently than it would without one.
