Global Renaming a Group of Pages - How?

Post by 007homevideo »

My site comprises scores of 'sections', each with sub-sections of generically-prefixed page names.

For example, one grouping of 160 pages currently has the prefix 'dvd_2_se_' (as in 'dvd_2_se_xx_xx.html, where 'xx_xx' is a unique component of the title of each page).

I wish to change the prefix to 'dvd_2_se_r1' - but would prefer not to have to manually rename each page.

The 'Global Replace' tool in WYSIWYG v12 doesn't have a 'Page Name' option; the 'Page Properties' option makes no reference to a page's filename.

If I am not using the 'Global Replace' tool correctly, I'd appreciate assistance from other users.

If my desired aim can be achieved via another method, I'd be grateful for the silution.

cheers.

I'm sorry, there is no option to globally rename pages.
