Cannot get project started after HDD failure

Post by bgdrab »

My drive failed and I went to my backups. The project was on version 11.5.

I purchased and installed version 14 but when I ran the project I get the following error:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The project could not be loaded.
- Make sure you install the same version of the application(or newer) as the one that was
used to create this project

- Make sure all extensions used by this project have been installed.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If I click OK, the website loads however there are three issues:

1.Warning at the top: This project was created with a previous version of WSIWYG Web Builder (1150). If you make modifications to this project, you will no longer be able to open it in older versions because the file structure is different.

2. The entire site is not visible under the Site Manager

3. If I try and save, Web Builder will crash and quite. I would often get the CSS Animation Manager pop up for some reason.

I have restored the entire file structure including the "WYSIWYG Web Builder" folder located in documents.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Brian.

Maybe there was a warning about missing extensions?
Make sure all extensions used by your project have been installed.

Please do not save the project if it's loaded with errors otherwise your project will may become corrupt.

I have saved the system folder with the extensions. I have also tried loading all the extensions but when I do, there is an "Can't Open File" error.

In that case I need your project file so I can investigate what is wrong.

Two ways
1. Upload your project to your host/server and provide a url so that it can be downloaded.
2. Upload to a public file sharing service such as Mediafire and again provide a url to download.
