Overlay menu and android phone

Post by davidpratthk » Tue Sep 18, 2018 6:41 am

After the failure with embedded pages etc we went back old school and Overlay menu works like a dream -- HOWEVER ....
When trying to use it on an android phone the menu, although it works does not display in the centre of the screen. You can swipe left to find the menu though. FYI works great. Works at all responsive sizes of the breakpoints on a pc, 1280 and above on an ipad, 720 on an ipad mini, and displays but with the fault on android at 320.

It is if the Page is either justified left ( page set to centrally align ) or the menu is expanded outside the break point.
Max width is set to 320 and the page is displayed in the 320 break point design. There are no errors on the wwb page.

There is little info on this menu and I see not Q&A on this problem in the forum.
The style options do not seem to have what I need ( have no idea what Affix is in the overlay menu )

Is there some good documentation on this menu?
Ideas to fix?

Maybe there are objects outside the page boundaries, so the browser adds a horizontal scroll bar?
What is the URL of the page?

As expected, they are objects outside the page boundaries. For example: Bookmark1
It is at position: 1938, 146

And it seems you have some random placed objects: Shape1, Shape2

Also, as mentioned in the tutorial: page alignment should not be set the 'center in browser' when using layout grids.

Note that this has nothing to do with the Overlay menu.

Thanks, will take a look.
The shape 1 and 2 are just temp id spts to see what breakpoints come up on various devices. They are inside 240.

Forgot about the bookmark but may have thrown me because its outside the breakpoint on every layer and doesn't affect non android devices.
Will try and reposition and judge it.

Your last note is taken and we will play with that.
Thanks.
