Google maps has changed.

Post by ptlycldy » Tue Aug 14, 2018 2:45 am

I went to use the "Google static maps" from the ready to use java-scripts and could not get it to work on the published page. I went through this forum and found several fixes for the other Google map scripts, and tried them with the Google static map object to no effect. Finally, I went to to Google and found out that in July of this year, Google newly required a Developer Key for the Google static maps as well.

Unfortunately, I'm not fluent in java-script. Can anybody help me in figuring out how to place the required key in the HTML code or where ever it might go, so I can use this function? What the syntax might be?

I am using WYSIWYG Builder 14.

Thanks in advance.

You can add the developer key in the 'feature parameters' property.

Code: Select all

&key=YOUR_KEY
