bad links

Post by queenidog » Thu Aug 02, 2018 2:10 pm

I redid my entire website with Web Builder and have a number of bad links because I moved stuff around from where the objects were in the other web editor. I can see all the bad links with the Link Verifier. How do I get rid of them? I can edit each one, but there are over 100.

Also many other assets are not found, discovered with the Asset Manager. When I did my rebuild I had used temporary folders so I wouldn't lose anything, now these are showing up as "File Not Found". I can't get rid of those either and there are many.

Is there a blanket "Clean out Asset Manager" button where all bad links or lost pages can be deleted? (E****ss***s W*b had something like this).

There is no automatic way to do this, because it is not common to have 100's of invalid links.

The only way to get rid of invalid links is to edit them manually.
You can use 'Global replace' to find and replace links.

You can change the path of missing assets in the Asset Manager -> Update. You can select multiple files at once.
