Importing excel

Post by keving » Wed Jul 18, 2018 3:28 am

Love this program, but one of the few things I cannot do is paste from Excel spreadsheet.
I have come from S***f We***us where I could create a table, copy from excel spreadsheet and paste into the table which would expand to take the formatted contents.
Anyway to do this in WYSIWYG?

Note excel is not a valid HTML format so no you cannot simple just drop into a table and have it display. You can first convert to csv and then use one of the following:
Responsive Data Table
Data Viewer

I would recommend the Responsive Data Table. It's a great extension.
