***NOT A TROJAN***WYSIWYG Web Builder 14.0.5 UPDATE removed by Norton

Post by LJLachance » Thu Jul 12, 2018 11:01 am

Tried to download the most recent (July 4, 2018) update and Norton throws it out claiming the "Trojen.Gen.NPE.2" virus is contained within. I need to confirm, before I let it pass, that the file is virus free??

Do you really think that there would be a virus in the program or that it would be distributed with one  ? This not a virus or a trojan in anyway at all it is a false postive by Norton. It is safe to allow it to run.

Just do a search with Virus as keyword and Pablo as Author to see the results
search.php?keywords=virus&terms=all&aut ... mit=Search

You can also check the .exe at the following

First, I'm not sure where you developed your moniker but I have to say I can't imagine a much better breakfast than Bacon with Fries - might want to add some cheese for a proper meal! :D

In reply, no, I did not really think it possible but you know what they say (whoever they are) "better to be safe than sorry" right? Just had to check. I've had Norton create false positives in the past.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

First, I'm not sure where you developed your moniker
It was a nickname given to me due to the love of the snack, crisp, potato chip with the same name as I rarely didn't have a packet at hand to munch on...
