The problem with displaying the font size.

Post by Andry » Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:34 pm

Hi.
The problem with displaying the font size. The font size does not match the one set in the WWB.
Example. In WYSIWYG Web Builder I format the text: Arial 14px and Verdana 12px. In all browsers the text is displayed: font-family: Arial; font-size: 19px; and font-family: Verdana; font-size: 16px;
This happens on WYSIWYG Web Builder 12 and on WYSIWYG Web Builder 14.
Reinstalled WYSIWYG Web Builder 12, does not help. Installed a trial version of WYSIWYG Web Builder 14, the same problem.
What is the reason?

The size you see in WB is in pt (points) but the output is in px.(pixels) so 14pt = 19px see chart below...

Should they not be the same?
No, In the Style Manager the size is in points so where you have set to 10points (pt) this is equal to 13px (pixels). So for each point used it will 10pt x 1.333(3) = 13px

Thank you. Can I change the font size from px to pt (Points), em (Ems),% (Percent)? It is not possible to make such changes through Style Manager.

No, that is not possible. The sizes must be in pixels otherwise text dimensions will not be the same in relation to the other elements on the page.
