Crash WWB

Post by ART » Fri Jun 15, 2018 12:36 pm

WWB 14 crashes from time to time on my computer (also with few pages open etc in the workspace). Therefore i have set the autobackup option to every 5 min. When i opened the most recent autobackup file after a crash, it appeared that the images are not found. Is that normal? Because it will be a lot of work to place back all the images.

There are no known crash issues, otherwise they would have already been fixed.
Are you using the latest update (14.0.4) ?
If yes, then what are the exact/detailed steps to reproduce this behavior?

Yes, that is normal, you will need to move the backup to the project folder.

Thanks for the link to the restore instructions. I am using WWB14.04. It is impossible to describe in detail the preceding steps. But it has occurred for instance several times when i wanted to preview a page.

I'm sorry, but I need more details to be able to help you with this.
Please try to remember what you did before this happened.
