How do I restrict footer width?

Post by MGD4me » Fri May 25, 2018 9:13 pm

I have created a Master Page (not frame) with the following:

Top Banner (fixed width)
Content Place Holder
Footer

I have set up a default page width (breakpoint) with 3 smaller breakpoints at 768, 480, and 320.

For the web pages, I go to Page Properties >> Miscellaneous, and select 'Master_page-main' and then 'Master Page' for type.

The web pages look exactly as I would expect with the footer width 'restricted' to the size of each breakpoint. But after I publish the web pages the footer covers the entire width of the browser window.

Is there a way to 'restrict' the footer width to only the breakpoint width?

Using ver 14.0.2

Headers and footer will always be full width (by design).

But you can (for example) a fixed shape or background image to have a solid background.
Or you can use a layout grid or layer as header and set the max width property.

That answers my question, thanks! It's good to have options. :)
