CSS Menu sub menu is hidden behind layer floating layer under it

Post by sprintfoot » Fri Apr 20, 2018 1:18 pm

Hello,

I can't seem to figure out how to get my css menu to show the sub menu when the user scrolls over the css menu. The 'Cabinet' css menu item is supposed to show a sub menu. The sub menu is hidden behind the floating layer under it.

I put a copy of the project at: http://doylestowncontractor.com/Time/

please take a look at it and let me know how to show the sub menu.

Thanks!

Note that normally a drop down menu is part of a page header. In that case you can set the stack level to 'in front of content'

Floating objects do not have z-index, so the next layer will always overlap the previous ones.
In this case you can manually add a z-index to layer2. For example:

Code: Select all

z-index: 9999

- Right click the layer
- Select 'Object HTML'
- Select "Custom Style'
