thumbnail and larger photo

Post by Joseph Lee » Mon Mar 05, 2018 6:27 pm

Hello,

I know this is probably simple to do, but I can't figure it out.

I want to have a vertical row of thumbnails, and have the corresponding photo appear in larger size to the left of thumbnail when courser is moved over thumbnail.

Thank you in advance.

Joseph

Did you try the Photo Gallery?

Add the thumbnail (thumbnail1 for example)
Add the larger version (larger1 for example). Right click > Hide

Open tumbnail1 manager:
Events:
onmouseover > Show > larger1
onmouseout > Hide > larger1

Repeat for each thumbnail and larger version

Followup question please @protectourlands?

Would it be possible to have a default "large" image visible before any mouseover occurs?

UPDATE:
I think I figured out how to have a default large image show. Make sure image is same size, place it directly on top, move it back, make it visible. Now it shows by default, until mouse over occurs.

I know there must be a cleaner way to do it, but this appears to work for me!!

You're welcome. Don't be afraid to try "Show With Effect" instead for some really cool effects.
