Screen vs Image size

Post by RiaanN » Tue Jan 16, 2018 10:02 am

Good Day

For this example I am using the Flexbox template available from the wysiwyg/templates website. I KNOW that there is no support for free templates but my question does not just relate to the template, as I am running into similar problems elsewhere.

I am working of a laptop with an extra bigger monitor connected to it. When I preview the template AS IS it looks identical on both the laptop screen as well as the bigger monitor. But the moment I insert my own picture in the "portfolio" section of the template it previews perfect on the laptop but not on the bigger monitor.

It does this even after I change the picture size to correspond to the box size in properties.

Why is this happening ?

Regards

To be able to help you I need to see what you have done.
Please always include the URL of the page or a link to your project file.

If you show the pictures in exactly the same size on the monitors... does it differ then? I mean the exactly physical size if you messure them right on the screen. Because if you are viewing in another scale on the bigger screen, maybe the resolution gets to low in the pics...

Good Day

I don't know if I fixed the problem but if I set the background properties to 100% 100% it works perfectly on both screens. But I have no idea if this is the fix or just a work around

Using a background will fill the entire viewport, but it will not stretch the content.

Maybe this will be helpful?
