Help with Importing Please

Post by peter@pjamr.com » Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:32 am

Hi, I have recently changed servers and unfortunately lost the computer copy of a web site.
The site is a WYSIWYG site so I thought it should be easy to Import a copy.
Unfortunately when I Import it I get a lot of blank numbered pages as well as the sites pages.
For example
Index = blank page
page 1 = blank
page 2 = blank
page 3 = Index page content

What am I doing wrong here ?

This is probably due to you uploading html files named as such and were not required. You can try to use the HTML import' option. Maybe you have enabled the server backup feature if so you may find the .wbs files on the server. If not then you will need to import each page one by one. Note when importing your pages it will not be possible to reconstruct the entire website from HTML files only. You may also have made backup to your PC. It is also possible to download the required files using the control panel of your host to your PC then into the program.
