HTML object

Post by eredas » Thu Jan 11, 2018 8:13 pm

I am adding schema to my page.

I have a layout grid with 4 sections.

I added the html object and the schema html code.

I want the schema to only show in the section of the layout grid I have it in.

Which options should I choose to do this. I have tried all the options in the html object box - and the code either shows on top of the page, the bottom or not at all.

Thanks

If you add HTML code inside a layout grid then you will have to make sure it is floating/flexible.
If the code contains size or position attributes then it will not work in a layout grid.

The layout grid is set to fluid and floating.

Which option should I use in the HTML properties options?

Here is the code I am adding

<div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/LocalBusiness">
<div itemprop="name">Digital Video Wall Installers</div>
<div>Email: <span itemprop="email">test@test.com</span></div>
<div>Phone: <span itemprop="telephone">888-888-8888</span></div>
<div>Url: <span itemprop="url">test.com</span></div>
<div itemprop="paymentAccepted" style='display: none' >cash, check, credit card, invoice, paypal</div>
<meta itemprop="openingHours" style='display: none' datetime="Mo,Tu,We,Th,Fr,Sa,Su 07:00-21:00" />
<div itemtype="http://schema.org/PostalAddress" itemscope="" itemprop="address">
<div itemprop="streetAddress"></div>
<div><span itemprop="addressLocality">sacramento</span>, <span itemprop="addressRegion">ca</span> <span itemprop="postalCode"></span></div>
</div>
<div>Hours: Mo-Fri 10am-7pm Sa 10am-22pm Su 10am-21pm
<meta itemprop="openingHours" content="Mo-Fri 10:00-19:00"/>
<meta itemprop="openingHours" content="Sa 10:00-22:00"/>
<meta itemprop="openingHours" content="Su 10:00-21:00"/>
</div>
<div>
<meta itemprop="paymentAccepted" content="Cash, Credit Card"/>Payment accepted: Cash, Credit Card
</div>
</div>

I think you should use 'do not use div'. Make sure your code has styling otherwise it won't be visible inside the grid. You should at least at font-size.

Note that I cannot help you with modifying code, for me that may also take a lot of time.
