Browser Cache

Post by RiaanN » Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:03 pm

Good Day

After making some changes to my website I need to clear the cache of Microsoft Edge before I can see the changes. Therefore I take it that some people that is revisiting my site will not be able to see my changes unless they clear their cache as well.

Is their a way to "force" their browsers to load the latest data ?

Regards

You can add the following meta tags.

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0" />

Good idea. I'll try this also.
However - I am curious how does not affect the site speed score in regards to "leverage browser cache"?
