Why Clear Browsing data?

Post by Trugmaker » Wed Jan 10, 2018 8:59 am

Every time I make any changes to my website the first live preview is all wrong, but after clearing the googles browsing data it all appears correct. Why do I have to clear browsing every time?

This is unrelated to the application, but you can try adding these meta tags:

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0" />

You can add 'user defined' meta tags in the Page properties.
You will need to add the code to all pages that you do not want to cache.

Hi Pablo, I put this meta stuff in my page some time ago but for some reason I put expiry dates back in the 80's. Can't remember why. Should I remove the expiry dates and put it as you have it?

If it works then there is no reason to change it.
