Copyright symbol in banner

I have created a MasterPage-footer, which is a simple banner with some text. I haven't found a way to include the copyright symbol in a banner. In a normal text field/box, I can go to Format >> Symbol, and the copyright symbol is included in the list, for normal text boxes.

As a workaround, I can overlay a text box with the copyright symbol on top of the banner, but the text alignment never seems to look quite right after publishing.

Is there any way to add the symbol as part of the text banner?

You could create a temporary Text Object and insert the copyright symbol.
Then highlight the symbol and copy it.
Then paste it into the banner text.
Delete the text object.

For the banner you can use the standard Windows keyboard input to insert a copyright symbol:
Alt+0169

Pablo... we were both typing at the same time... :o)

I was responding to WWBman's suggestion, which worked for me. I will try out your solution later. Thanks.

I'm happy to report that both methods work perfectly. It's just a matter of preference!

Thanks, to both.

I tried adding Copyright symbol under Windows 10, not working with ALT+0169
Any other options?

Cheers

All OK - after further looking around, found out that the 0169 - MUST be typed on the numeric keypad...
Oh well
