V12.3

If some objects are grouped individually... say six object grouped int three individual groups A-B C-D E-F .... but in order to temporally move all grouped objects together ...and in order to do this all three groups are grouped together.. then when ungrouping the larger temporary group all the individual groups also lose their groups as well.

So ..is there a way to lock individual groups together so they do not become ungrouped as describe above?

I know there is the facility to Select>All below

Thanks

This is not possible. An object can be part of one group only.

Can't you just select all the groups and do the move.
Or select all the groups > merge objects > move > split objects.
The groups should still be intact.

Excellent thanks for that!

I was unaware that merged objects could then revert back.. which is why I have never used Merge before...(Mind you I probably only use a tenth of WB capability) :).and this certainly works with such merged grouped objects

Thanks again :)
